Lane County faced a major challenge when our only grocery store was lost to fire in January 2024. What could have been a devastating blow to our community turned into an opportunity for resilience, unity, and vision.

The Lane County Community Foundation, along with dedicated residents, stepped up to ensure access to fresh, affordable food for every household in our county. Our organization is a subsidiary C-Corp. and is overseen by a seven-member Board of Directors.

From generous donations to countless volunteer hours, this grocery store is happening because it's built by the community, for the community.
